Coaches & Officials Needed
Head and assistant coaches are needed. An HLC Coaching Application must be completed by all coaches (new and returning). The Montana Lacrosse Association requires that all head coaches be certified through US Lacrosse (Level 1). Information about the coaching certification process will be covered in the meeting.
Lacrosse experience is not required but experience coaching youth sports is always preferred.
All coaching applications will be reviewed and approved by the HLC Board.
The MLA Board set a goal that each MLA program recruits one new official per 25 players in their program. The MLA will create a complete plan to incentivize the recruitment efforts and provide adequate training and certification opportunities.
Here is this year's officials training program. Please note that a girls officials clinic will be held at the end of January while the boys officials training program begins February 1st.

Looking for players, parents, or anyone you may know who would be interested in and able to become a certified ref.
Experience with lacrosse and, or officiating is not required. We'll work on that if you are brand new to the game. For those with officiating and, or lacrosse experience - this is a fun way to stay involved and help our growing sport.
The State Association will provide you a starter uniform kit (hat, shirt, whistles, flag, patches, game card.) Complete five assignments in 2017 and the uniform is yours. Training is free.
Here's what we need from you:
